Scentsy Story
My Scentsy story has changed over the years since joining - but the main reason why I have stayed with Scentsy for so long has always pretty much remained the same.
I joined Scentsy in September of 2019. At the time of joining, I did not have a full-time job and my severance check from my last job was almost gone. I did not really need to spend my money frivolously. My best friend sent me a photo of a Scentsy warmer - Jack Skellington that she saw on Pinterest. I absolutely HAD to have that warmer. I immediately messaged my consultant, Chasity, to inquire about ordering it. I pre-ordered the warmer with her that would be coming out on September 1st. When she took my order, she also mentioned that in September they would be having a "join special" for Scentsy if I wanted to finally make that leap.
I had been ordering Scentsy from Chasity for at least 5 years at that time. She had asked me to join a handful of times previously. I had contemplated it, but I was also hesitant to jump into something and not be successful. Let's face it, nobody likes to fail! In 2018 I really started considering it at one point because I bought it so often and I could use some extra cash ( who couldn't?). My then girlfriend at the time talked me out of joining. She did not think it would be worth spending the money and it would not be profitable. I was very disheartened, but I went with her advice.
When Chasity mentioned that join special, I sat up that night looking into it more and really put thought into joining this time! My then girlfriend (same one) was asleep and I did not really want her to put me down again anyway. I decided in the middle of the night, probably around 1am to make the leap and just do it! I went with the full kit, instead of the join special kit because I wanted to be fully invested. I have not looked back since then, nor have I ever regretted that middle of the night decision.
Through Scentsy I have made some great friends! I met my best friend through Scentsy. She has been there for me through some very difficult times in my life and I wouldn't have met her without Scentsy. The community of individuals within my upline of consultants is so positive and uplifting. I wouldn't ever trade it.
Sometimes you have to do something for yourself and not listen to everyone's negative opinions on something and just GO FOR IT!!
